Job Summary

The Network Systems Technician must be able to support the stable operation of our clients' computer networks. He or she will be involved in planning, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links while ensuring minimal network downtime. This person must also be able to diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software network problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and support where required.

 

Responsibilities

• Support the diverse needs of our clients' data networks.
• Identify new opportunities within existing client relationships.
• Reinforce the TEKMedia Communications message to our client base.

 

Qualifications

• Significant understanding of current networking technologies and systems, including Windows, Unix, Linux, and SQL.
• 1-2 years experience in IT technical support.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid Texas Driver's License.
• Some college preferred.
